In fact it has long been thought by scientists that people with all types of extra sensory and psychic powers have these powers because they are able to access different parts of their mind from other people. It seems that they were either born with this increased mindpower or have managed to develop this mindpower in later life.

Although the process behind our mind power is far from fully understood, the latest advances in quantum physics are beginning to reveal the true nature of the link between what we think and what we experience in 'real' life.

Scientific studies are in fact beginning to provide some substance to what religions have been saying for literally thousands of years. That is, reality is a product of your mind, so that if you change how you think, you can change your reality. The power of your mind is, in fact, the only reality you have.

Recent and popular films like 'The Secret' explain the theory behind the Law of Attraction. That is, people are beginning to see that if they change how they see things and they used their mind's power, they can attract anything they want into their lives, including abundance of every kind.

In case you have not come across it before, the law of attraction concerns the whole universe and states that there is a cause and effect for everything we do. So whatever you think about you will get! You must however communicate with your subconscious mind to tell it what you want; otherwise it presumes you want everything to stay as it is. Scientifically this is known as a state of homeostasis.

So the subconscious mind is not only responsible for all of the esp powers such as telepathy, remote viewing, and precognition, it also reacts with the 'universe' or what some call the 'universal consciousness', to manifest your desires.

So let's say you need more self-esteem. You might say to yourself something to the effect of, 'I have plenty of confidence,' or 'I'm very happy and confident.' Or, you may want to nip a bad habit in the bud and replace it with something else. So if you're trying to lose weight, for example, you can say, 'I always eat good healthy foods to help me stay at a healthy weight.'

With consistent repetition affirmations really do work. You communicate with your subconscious mind, telling it to do something different and it does! It makes you behave differently.

Now, take this one stage further and realize that whatever you want to change will, not just bad habits or heartfelt desires, but absolutely everything. This is truly mind power.

Practicing visualization:- Visualization is another way to develop mind power. With this, you close your eyes and visualize what you want to have happen. Your subconscious is very tuned into pictures, so if you visualize yourself being successful, for example, you can literally have anything you've ever wanted. Visualize a new car or new house, and it will come to you. One helpful technique is to make a scrapbook before you do a visualization so that you have something to focus on as you work on manifesting desires. As long as you do visualization consistently, positive results will appear.

You can also visualize yourself with psychic abilities. You may visualize yourself using telepathy to communicate, to be able to see into the future, or do remote viewing. If you use mind power, you can literally cause anything you want to happen.

Hypnosis:- Hypnosis is another well known way of communicating with your subconscious mind and helping to develop mindpower. You can also use brainwave entrainment to access a meditative state very quickly so that you can communicate with your subconscious mind and therefore develop your mind power and bring it to fruition.

Still other frequencies can be created that will stimulate parts of your body known as the 'chakra energy centers.' A chakra in the center of your forehead, for example, is called the 'third eye chakra.' This chakra is responsible for psychic powers.

However, don't think that you need to 'develop' these powers. You have them already, inside you. It's been said that many thousands of years ago, people had this ability, but it has since been minimized and repressed, lacked deep within the human psyche.
